This is Dave Brayden, approaching our camp site for the night.
In the picture, fur branches are between crampon and boat as make shift snow shoes. it actually worked pretty good, the hip deep post holing became knee deep.
Most of the climbing was much easier than i expected. The crux was a moderate overhang which DaveB cruised though, waiting on me to puff and blow on a tight rope.

The crux was a moderate overhang which DaveB cruised though, waiting on me to puff and blow on a tight rope.As the huge amounts of soft snow on the approach should have indicated we were far too early and enthusiastic for the session. the decent was steep soft spring snow, sloughing in small avalanches as we headed down the east ridge.
