Alpine

Maria and I had planned to attempted Mount Rainier in Washington state, so we planned a last minute trip to Rogers Pass, BC to practice ice skills and test our fitness. I dont think it helped us too much, but with beautiful weather and great snow conditions we had a lot of fun.
The Asulkan hut - Asulkan Glacier - word of warning, they lock the hut take the combination or a crowbar.
Maria down climbing on a 'boot-axe belay'
The magical illecillewaet neve (above)
Mount Rainier (below) 4,392 m
Maria and I went with Maria's dad, Val. the weather was mixed and I forgot my boots =/
We had a great time nonetheless. We got as far as Ingraham Flats, for an amazing campsite. Maria and Val are planning a return trip end of August - remember your boots guys!!

Captain Chaos alright! Though I think forgetting your boots is a perfectly reasonable thing to do (coming from someone who has also done it)
